A March Update

Sorry it's been so long since I've last posted. Here is a quick over view of March 2011.

It started out with a birthday party for O at the park. It went great and everyone had a bunch of fun even though it was windy and J popped her balloons before anyone else got there. We made an emergency family visit to GA. E's mother past away, it was sudden and although she has been ill it was still unexpected. Two days after we returned my parents came down for a weeks visit. They had hoped to see E baptized but because of airline problems missed it. It's been a busy March but the rest of the summer looks to be uneventful.

Everyone is doing well. E is growing and becoming a vocal little baby while O and J are being great older siblings. So far the only big issue we've come across is getting out the door on time for things and O doesn't want to give up the crib just yet. But we are working on it.

O and the ER

For those of you who don't follow us in other online places, a quick update for you.

O went to the ER last night for vomiting. Her temperature was low as well. She was given med's and an x-ray that found she has the beginnings of pneumonia, so med's for that as well. This morning she is doing good, I like tired but in good spirits.

Please pray that it continues to be good for her. Thank you all.

Baby E

A January Update

I had planned to wait until baby #3 arrived to post anything but has decided to wait us out. This is the reason for this small posting. I just wanted to update you on the fast that my mom is here to help with J and O and she has been awesome but baby is now an entire week over due! I don't mind being pregnant but the waiting and the fact Mom is leaving on Monday is starting to get to me. The doctor is planning to induce on Monday too yet which doesn't sit well with anyone. He doesn't want to wait too long since I've had a c-section before and the longer we wait the greater the risk to me and the baby becomes. Induction has it's own problems for the same reasons. If all else fails next week there will be another c-section in my future.

So there is it, the baby story in a nut shell. Please pray because I really just want to do this all with out too much medical interference. Thank you all!

Chritmas Blessings!

Christmas 2010 brought my sister M and her husband T down for a few days visit. We had an early Christmas while they were here. On Christmas morning we had our own little family gift opening where J got a new bike and O got an art easel as well as way too many other toys. The best part is that we are still waiting on a couple of other packages with yet more stuff to open. It's fun to drag out the presents through the week! We hope you all had a wonderful and bless Christmas with family and friends. May we also remember the "reason for the season".

Our housing department held a pumpkin pick today. They had crafts (too long of a line) and a jump house (J went in and came right back out) and pumpkins galore to pick. We aren't a Halloween type family but it made for a nice outing and family time.
