Out With the Old. In With the New

As 2013 draws to an end I am discounting all my old cards, so take a look on both my Etsy and FaceBook pages.  I've even posted a few to eBay, since it was free postings for a bit.

This cute neutral baby waterfall technique card is so fun to play with!  It's not so difficult to put together as it seems.  The colors are not Stampin'Up! but the cute little animals and the retired brads are.  It "falls" up though, LOL, pull on the sting and the pieces cascade up and over to show the next picture and a small baby sentiment under it all.  It is a bit front heavy and I have trouble with figuring out what to put on the squares so I don't do with technique very often but it is one of my favorites.

I am looking forward to getting some new stamps from Ourdailybreaddesigns in the New Year and seeing what I can come up with.  My plan is to post one Mega Pack and special occasion cards (Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, Easter…).

I hope everyone had a great and safe Christmas and fun, safe plans for the ringing in of the New Year!

Embossed Snowflakes

Turquoise isn't always a persons first choice of color but I really like to use it when I can.  Stampin'Up even has it in embossing powder.  I used it with an embossing folder and rhinestone jewels with a nice edge punch to make this lovely card.  Tempting Turquoise, Serene Snowflakes, rhinestone jewels and a decorative edge punch all from Stampin'Up!

Angels Appeared

A simply elegant card to share.  Stampin'Up Tulip embossing fold gives a beautiful edge to this Christmas card.  The angel is from the Stampin'Up stamp set Holy Triptych.  It is heat embossed in gold and mounted on a scalloped red oval which is also raised with dimensional stickers.
Find it on my FaceBook sales page, the link is just to the right.  Thank you for looking.

Also on my Etsy store I have a great coupon for the next two weeks, check it out!  If you don't find what you are looking for ask for something custom.  I may have what you are looking for!

Red Cross - Holiday Cards for Heroes

I wanted to put this out there too.  A Red Cross program to send Christmas cards to our service members and their families.  It closes soon, sorry it's so late, but take a look all the same!

These are the cards I plan to send to give you ideas.  They are also made from Stampin'Up! products.
Christmas Star stamp
Words of courage stamp set
Stampn'Up! card Stock in a variety of colors.

Three Wise Men

This is Christmas card is selling pretty good among my friends and family.  It features the Three Wise Men from the Stampin'Up! stamp set Come to Bethlehem.  It also uses Stampin'Up! Chocolate Chip card stock, Natural White Card stock, Crochet Trim ribbon, Spellbinders die cut shapes, a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I used a retired color of ink from Stampin'Up! called Close to Cocoa as well.  The inside is blank but I do put in a white insert for writing on and a "hand made" stamp on the back to comply with Stampin'Up! angel policies. Envelopes are included but shipping is extra.
I have this card listed for $3 a piece or $12 for a 5 pack.  Go to my FaceBook page to see it or link to my Etsy shop.  www.facebook.com/handmadepapercutcards

I'm Back!

I am back to the blog.  Well sort of.  In the next little bit I plan to use this blog for my new card sales, Paper Cut Cards.  I don't think I can sell from here but I do have an Etsy shop and a FaceBook sales page that I will see about linking in.  I plan to post a card every so often that I have for sale, like a high light page.
Not sure if this will help or not but it will add a little to the effort, I hope!
Thanks!
